We gather to celebrate the New Yam Festival with our brothers and sisters of the Ebira community here in Okebukun, we are reminded that the yam is more than food, it is a symbol of hard work, patience, and the blessings of a fruitful harvest.

We are neighbours, and more than neighbours, we are one family bound in peace, love and unity.
